Shikai Art Studio was established in 2002.
In 2016, Shikai New York Art Studio was established, and has achieved many remarkable achievements in the past seven years. Among the best results include, in the most competent art competition in the United States, Scholastic Art Writing Awards, student Derek won the first place in the final gold medal in 2018, and his works were exhibited all over the United States; student Mingxin was invited to participate in the Metropolitan Museum of Art Exhibition in 2019; in 2020, all ten works of student Yu qiao won awards, including four for the Golden Key Award, four for the Silver Key Award, and two for the Honor Award. Two of the works for the Golden Key Award participated in the finals and finally won two silver awards. In addition, every year, students have won the Silver Award, Golden Key Award and Silver Key Award in the finals. In the whole studio, the winning rate of students aged 13 to 18 participating in the Scholastic Art Writing Awards is above 90%.

Studio teaching technique is mainly divided into three parts.
(1) Enrolled students over the age of 13. Counseling students to participate in various important art competitions, and completing the art portfolio for applying to professional art colleges or comprehensive universities.
The award-winning experience of the competition will help students successfully obtain scholarships, make it easier to enter Ivy League universities, and apply for professional art schools. Since the establishment of Shikai Studio, there has not been a case of students who failed to apply for their dream university (but the studio does not guarantee the college application result). Referring to a statistic in 2018, Shikai Art Studio ranked number third in New York.
(2) Enrolled students aged 5 to 12. Each class proposes different themes for creation, mainly from historical stories, news events, children's knowledge sharing, natural environmental protection and art history knowledge. Guide students to gradually expand their unique imagination and creativity, teacher will not directly tell students what should be drawn , Instead, students will develop their own work according to their own independent ideas. combining students' ideas to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, and give corresponding technical guidance until students complete their creations. Each student's creative process and finished work is different and unique. In 2018, in the Celebratingart art competition, more than 40 students from Shikai Art Studio participated, and only four or five were not selected.
(3) Enrolling adult students. Courses on Chinese painting, calligraphy, oil painting, art history lectures, and museum tours are offered. They are taught by professional artists, explaining profound things in simple terms, improving students' artistic accomplishment, enriching their amateur aesthetic life, and growing together with children.
